Our Story

After years in the education system, we decided that enough was enough. Brilliant educators and admin staff were burning out not from teaching, but from fighting the very software meant to help them save time each week.

Schools were buying one tool for attendance, another for curriculum mapping, a third for parent communication, and a fourth for student grades. None of them talked to each other. Teachers spent their afternoons copying data from one silo to another, while parents required half a dozen different apps just to keep up with their children's school life.

Adding another tool to the pile and asking schools who have enough on their plate to integrate it wasn't going to solve any problems, so we decided to rethink the entire foundation.

In 2025, we started forming a panel of principals, teachers, educators, industry experts and parents to map out exactly what a frictionless school day looked like. We threw out legacy assumptions, adopted modern open-source principles, and began building a unified platform where privacy, design, simplicity, and performance were non-negotiable. That platform became eddi.

Today, we are a small team of engineers and educators committed to setting a new benchmark for the education technology industry.
